Just In: Herdsmen abduct 4 persons in Ika North East, Delta

SUSPECTED herdsmen-kidnappers has on Saturday, abducted four persons at Ika North East local government area of Delta state.

The Herdsmen had moved from Oshimili North Local Government Area, following the executive order by the authorities to vacate camps in bushes in the area, within seven days, weekend,

A source from the community told iBrandTV that, the gunmen, who are herders with AK-47 rifles appeared from the Railway axis, one of their strongholds in Delta North and kidnapped the four persons.”

“I don’t know the persons, but they took them deep into the forest and nobody could stop them.

“Though the anti-cult group mobilized and chased them when information reached them, they only recovered two abandoned motorcycles belonging to the victims.

“It is like those operating in Oshimili area had made their way to Ika North East after they were issued eviction order the way things look like now,” he added.
