It was a pathetic scene in Choba, Obio Akpor Local Government Area, of Rivers state on Tuesday, as inferno razed mother and her two children to death.
An eye witness told our correspondent that the woman simply identified as Imabong and both daughters, marvellous and miracle were trapped helplessly in a fire.

The fire engulfed the ground floor apartment of a storey building in Alikor Estate, Choba.
According to the source, “The husband had left the house early before this tragedy happened. No one can pinpoint what led to the fire yet, but the lady trades kerosene so that could have fueled the fire.”
