The meeting, originally slated for 4 p.m. at the Council Chamber, experienced a delay and was eventually relocated to the President’s office conference room, where proceedings began about an hour later.

Several APC governors were in attendance, including Babagana Zulum, Hope Uzodimma, Inuwa Yahaya, Hyacinth Alia, Biodun Oyebanji, Peter Mbah, and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Some states, however, sent deputy governors to represent them.

As of the latest updates, officials have not disclosed the purpose of the gathering, leaving room for speculation about the issues being discussed behind closed doors.

The meeting comes on the heels of another high-level engagement led by Tinubu with Senate leaders just a day earlier.

Following that session, Opeyemi Bamidele revealed that critical decisions were reached on pressing national matters, though he did not provide specifics. He noted that the outcomes were guided by prior deliberations held during a Senate executive session.
