A federal judge has granted Megan Thee Stallion permission to depose Tory Lanez from behind bars as part of her ongoing lawsuit against blogger Milagro “Gramz” Cooper.

Judge Approves Megan Thee Stallion’s Deposition Of Tory Lanez

Judge Cecilia Altonaga issued the ruling on Monday, 24 February, 2025, allowing Megan’s legal team to question Lanez remotely or through other agreed arrangements with the California Correctional Institution.

The deposition is linked to Megan’s lawsuit, filed in October, accusing Cooper of cyberstalking, defamation, and spreading false rumours.

The rapper claims Cooper acted as a “mouthpiece” for Tory Lanez, promoting deepfake pornography and making unverified allegations about her alleged alcoholism.

Megan’s legal team argues that recorded prison calls show Lanez coordinated payments to Cooper.

Tory Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting Megan in the feet during an argument in 2020. His appeal is still pending.

In January, Megan secured a five-year restraining order against Lanez, stating that he continues to harass her from prison. She expressed fear that he may retaliate upon release.
