Bayern Munich has announced that its goalkeeper and captain, Manuel Neuer, has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Allianz Arena until June next year.

Neuer joined Bayern Munich from Schalke in 2011 and has since made an impressive 547 appearances for the club, keeping 258 clean sheets.
