Endrick has dedicated his two goals for Real Madrid in their Copa del Rey win over Celta Vigo to Antonio Rudiger as the German “never praises me”.
The teenage forward brought his 11-game goal drought to a close when helping to fire Los Blancos through a testing encounter that saw them throw away a lead late on before prevailing 5-2 in extra-time.
Endrick netted in the 108th and 119th minutes.
Said efforts will help to build confidence in the 18-year-old’s game, with just 83 minutes of La Liga action taken in this season.
Questions have been asked of his immediate future at Santiago Bernabeu, with a January loan move being speculated on.
Endrick is happy to be contributing again to the collective cause, with the youngster telling Real Madrid TV of how tough love from certain team-mates is helping to keep him focused:
“I keep working every day.
“My two goals are for Antonio Rudiger.
“He knows what he does for me every day.
“He never praises me, and that’s a good thing!
“Also, he tells me what to do, to score, to run, to keep fighting.
“Yesterday in training he gave me a tough game.
“I was thinking about it at home and he’s a great person.
“The goals are for him.”

However, Endrick ripped his shirt off after scoring his first goal against Celta and added on allowing emotion to spill out after a testing period in his blossoming career:
“[The first] was a very important goal for me.
“This is my job.
“I have to do well for the team, scoring goals, doing whatever.
“Scoring a goal for Madrid, for these fans, the players, the staff, is really good.
“In the last Copa game I missed the chances I had.
“Today, I had two chances and scored.”
