New Update From JAMB 

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the registration process for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) has not yet begun.

Candidates are advised to stay alert for updates.

In a statement shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, JAMB urged prospective candidates to prepare by securing their National Identification Number (NIN) and a unique phone number in advance.

The statement read: “You can get your NIN ahead and a phone number that has not been previously used to register on our platform to generate your profile code prior to the time.”

JAMB Introduces New Novel

Additionally, JAMB revealed that “The Lekki Headmaster” by Kabir Alabi Garba will be the recommended text for the 2025 UTME Use of English examination.

The announcement read: “Attention prospective 2025 UTME candidates! This is to inform you that The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba has been approved as the reading text for the Use of English.”

Candidates are encouraged to familiarise themselves with this text as part of their preparation for the exams.

Further details on the registration timeline and guidelines will be released soon.

JAMB has also directed its staff to update their profiles or register afresh in readiness for the upcoming examination process.

JAMB emphasised the importance of staying informed through its official platforms to avoid misinformation.
