Jude Bellingham is back to the grind following Real Madrid’s humiliating Supercopa de Espana loss with a “loads still to play for” rallying cry.
Bellingham is wasting no time moving past his team’s crushing 5-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana final as he has already started working in the gym after returning to Madrid from Saudi Arabia.
He struggled to make an impact against Barcelona’s midfield and his subdued display drew frustration from fans, with many criticising his lack of influence in such a crucial encounter.
Posting on Instagram, the 20-year-old expressed his resolve to move forward and wrote: “Back to work, loads still to play for.”
Bellingham’s 2024-25 campaign has been a tale of ups and downs. Following a notable dip in form, the midfielder has shown a resurgence in recent months.
One of his standout moments came in the semi-final against Mallorca, where he scored the opening goal in a 3-0 win.
This brought his tally to nine goals in his last 12 matches across all competitions, highlighting his return to form.
However, a minor thigh strain sustained in the semi-final may have affected his performance in the final against Barcelona.

However, Real Madrid’s attention now turns to the Copa del Rey, where they will host Celta Vigo in a round of 16 match on Thursday.
With the Supercopa loss behind them, the reigning La Liga champions will aim to regroup and make a strong push in the domestic cup competition.
