Nigerian singer, Patoranking, has broken his silence on social media following the heartbreaking loss of his sister, Chioma, and her husband, George Onuabuchi.
The couple tragically lost their lives in an explosion at their home.
This is a devastating incident that occurred on their son’s birthday,
This was just months after they celebrated their housewarming in August 2024.
A neighbour who witnessed the aftermath recounted the horrifying scene.
“It happened in my street. We only heard the sound of an explosion in the afternoon. When we rushed to the compound, smoke was coming out of the new building with all the electronics destroyed, including the ceiling, doors, and windows shattered with broken glass everywhere.”
The burial of Chioma and George took place on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in their hometown of Uburu, Ebonyi State, where family and friends gathered to mourn their untimely passing.

Reflecting on the devastating loss, Patoranking took to his Instagram story to share a brief but emotional message, writing, “Only heaven knows”.
His absence on social network since the incident has been very loud. Now, people quickly attributed his writing to his reflections on the demise of his brother in-law and sister.
