The detention of popular activist VeryDarkMan by the Nigeria Police has left Nigerians in dismay.

How can someone who willingly honoured the invitation by the authorities end up in detention.

VeryDarkMan, a well known activist fell into the police hook after dropping a banger video content on social media.

Adorn with a black outfit similar to that of the police, the influencer dropped another hit content for his crowds of followers.

Perhaps, he had known that the Nigeria Police would come for him, VDM had already prepared his defense.

Trust our ‘Olukpa’, they never disappoint.

In no time, the force revealed that its has launched an investigation into the video.

The police condemned the unauthorised usage of the force’s outfit for content stating that such act undermines the value of the force.

Not only that, it is a punishable offense.

In his defense, VeryDarkMan quickly apologised to the police.

Sooner or later, VDM made another video showing himself at the police station, honouring the invitation of the force.

It was not until later that a friend of the activist took to social media to reveal that he was detained.

The shock is still very obvious as Nigerians flood the social media space with reactions.

The outrage also cannot be overlooked.

Many have said that it is never a wise choice to honour invitations from any security agency.

Many others have drawn the conclusion that the men in black can never be trusted.

The social media is blowing up with reactions.

All eyes are on the police as the drama unfolds.
