Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Kellyrae, recently revealed that he gave his wife, Kassia, ₦55 million out of his ₦60 million cash prize from the show.
Kellyrae is also chilling with a brand-new car worth ₦40 million gotten from BBNaija.
He emerged victorious after a thrilling season finale on Sunday.
The couple, known as DoubleKay, entered the BBNaija house as a pair.
However, their journey took a twist when Biggie unpaired the housemates.
This leaves them to compete as individuals.
Also, the decision was announced to their fans after Kellyrae openly stated that he preferred to win the ₦100 million grand prize over Kassia.
During a candid Instagram live session with Kassia on Tuesday, Kellyrae claimed that he had already sent her a significant portion of his winnings.
“The [prize] money is ₦60 million; I’ve already sent Kassia ₦55 million to take care of herself,” he said
However, Kassia quickly refuted her husband’s claims during the same live session.
“To which account [did you send the money]? Why are you lying? You’re lying to your fans after they voted for you,” she countered.
In an attempt to smooth over the situation, Kellyrae humorously blamed the exchange on poor network connectivity and brushed off Kassia’s objections.

“It’s bad network. They [my fans] will not drag me,” he quipped.
From pervious reward records, Kellyrae may not have received the prize money.
It could take days, weeks or even months before the prize money is paid.
