Popular Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, known professionally as Basketmouth, has publicly introduced his new lover.
This is nearly two years after his divorce from his ex-wife, Elsie Okpocha.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Thursday morning, the comedian posted a cozy video of himself with his new partner.
Also, with the video, Basketmouth officially made their relationship public.
Basketmouth accompanies the video with a little explanation. He wrote, “About to step into the next chapter of my life,”
Indeed, this signals the start of a new phase for him both personally and romantically.
Basketmouth’s announcement comes after his highly publicised separation from Elsie in December 2022.
The couple had been married for 12 years with three children from their union.
Their separation came as a shock to many, as they were often regarded as one of the most stable celebrity couples in the industry.
Elsie Okpocha, Basketmouth’s ex-wife, is a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur.
Furthermore, throughout their marriage, she was known to support Basketmouth’s career
