While protesters in the Kano took advantage of the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest to air their displeasure over the lingering hunger and hardship rocking the country, a yet-to-be-identified tailor only saw an opportunity to cash out.
He dusted his sewing kit and boom, he was in business.
As Nigerians gathered in their number for the #EndBadGovernance protest, the tailor got busy with his sewing machine.
He mass produced the Russian flags and sold it for the protesters.
That flag made great sales.
In fact, it became the center of attraction as it flooded the streets.
But sadly, this business has landed the tailor in trouble.
That was how the #EndBadGovernance protesters in the North started flying the Russian flag, calling on the Russian government to come to their aid.
Over the weekend, photos of protesters waving the Russian flag made the rounds on social media, including a video of some tailors making the flags.
