- Open Your Dialer: On your mobile phone, open the dialer app.
- *Dial 996#: Input *996# and press the call button.
- Follow the Prompts: You will receive on-screen instructions to check your NIN status and proceed with the NIN linking process if not already linked.
Visit nin.mtn.ng
- Access the Website: Open your preferred web browser and visit nin.mtn.ng.
- Check NIN Status: Verify if your NIN is linked to your number.
- Enter OTP: You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your email and mobile number. Enter this OTP on the website.
- Enter NIN: Provide your National Identification Number (NIN).
- Give Consent: Agree to the data processing disclaimers and give your consent.
- Submit NIN Linking Request: Complete the process by submitting your request.
