The Ojude Oba Festival commenced on Wednesday, June 19, with so much glamour and cultural richness.
It was one like never before.
Pictures of beautiful women, styled in rich and colourful Yoruba cultural attires flooded the internet, not to mention the men, who appeared in different shades of confidence in their heavy, rich costumes.
It was indeed a day of swag, and trust the ‘Yoruba Demons’, no one was left behind.

Make no mistake, among these men was Farooq, who stole the show with his steeze and composure.
Before now, many people did not know the name Farooq Oreagba, or the face behind the name.
Ojude Oba is a festival hosted every year, and this year was no exception.
This is not the first time Farooq is attending the festival.
But on that fateful day, as he rode through the crowd on his horse, like a Yoruba god visiting his people for the first time, Nigerians could not help but stare.
Such is often witnessed in Yoruba Nollywood blockbusters.
In fact, only a few producers and directors can brag about such.
But here it was, before the very eyes of Nigerians, before the very people of Ijebu Ode.
Mr. Farooq’s drip was so much that many ladies on social media confessed to a ‘wet pants’ just minutes after his pictures surfaced.
His green colored Agbada, spiced with gold designs glittered all over his body, leaving a rare aesthetic for onlookers.

Heavily beaded Farooq had with him a huge stick of cigar with a black shades that left his pointed nose noticeable like that of the ‘Oyibos’.
