Nigerian Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie Wins Top Award In France

Chiamaka Nnadozie, , has become the first African and Nigerian player to be named the best goalkeeper in the French women’s league, D1 Arkema.

She achieved this honour after an amazing season, including saving crucial penalties.

Nnadozie beat out top goalkeepers from Olympic Lyon and Paris SG to win the award. Her club president, Pierre Ferracci, praised her.

He said, “She deserves it. She had an exceptional Champions League season, not just with penalties.”

He added, “We’ll try to keep her, but she’ll be in high demand this summer.”

Paris FC is currently third in the league, behind Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon. Nnadozie’s achievement is a significant milestone for African and Nigerian football.
