The leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared a two-day nationwide mass protest on February 27 and 28.
This move was easily predicted. The reason is not far-fetched. It is because Nigerians are tired of the hardship rocking the.ir boats.
Sadly, this hardship has spiced the highest level of insecurity the country has ever experienced.
A good number of protests have already started, with youths leading the way, especially on social media.
Now, the National President of NLC, Joe Ajaero, during a press conference at Labour House, Abuja, declared a nationwide protest.
The Agreement
The protest was declared to press the demands on the current hardship being faced by Nigerians.
The leaders of organised labour and government representatives entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on October 2, 2023, after a 16-point agreement was reached.
