Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido have emerged as nominees for the upcoming 2024 International Reggae and World Music Awards, holding on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Florida.
The IRAWMA Awards, recognized as the oldest and longest-running annual international reggae and world music event, have nominated Burna Boy’s ‘Talibans II,’ Davido’s ‘Unavailable,’ and ‘Drift’ in the Best Crossover Song of the Year category.
In the realm of AFROBEATS, Burna Boy takes the lead with four nominations: Best Collaborated Song with ‘Talibans II,’ Best Music Video for ‘Talibans II’ and ‘Aboboyaa,’ Best African Entertainer, and Best Crossover Song with ‘Talibans II.’
On the other hand, Davido secured three nominations: Best Crossover Song for ‘Unavailable’ remix featuring Sean Paul and ‘Drift’ remix, and Best Collaborated Song with ‘Drift’ remix. Wizkid earned one nomination for Best Afrobeats Entertainer.
