Davido’s chart topper ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys, Tems’ ‘Me and U’ as well as ‘Sittin’ On Top of the World’ by Burna Boy featuring 21 Savage, and Asake and Olamide collaboration ‘Amapiano’ ably represent Nigerian interest on the list.

South African singer Tyla’s ‘Water’ is the only non-Nigerian African song featured on the track.

President Obama’s 28-song list, expectedly dominated by American artistes,  also includes Beyonce’s ‘America Has A Problem’ Lenny Kravitz’s “Road to Freedom’, and Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Cobra’, amongst others.

‘TQG’ by Karol G and Shakira, ‘Younger and Dumber’ by  Indigo De Souza, and ‘Midnight Gospel’ by Ale Araya featuring Joseph Chilliams represent the former president South American-origin music preferences for 2023.

On the list, from across the pond, are Dave & Central Cee’s ‘Sprinter’, and Stormzy’s ‘Toxic Trait’ featuring Fredo.

The president invited fans and followers to recommend any artistes or songs they think he ought to check out.
