Sadio Mane has hinted that he may be tempted by a transfer to Newcastle, with a “never say never” response offered to links with the Magpies.

The Senegal forward, who had previously shone for Southampton and Liverpool, said goodbye to the Premier League in the summer of 2022 when he finalised a transfer to Bayern Munich.
Due to links to teams in England and Saudi Arabia, following a challenging season in Germany, questions regarding Mane’s future are now being raised.
When asked about Newcastle by politician and Magpies supporter Martin Callanan, the 31-year-old did not rule anything out.
When asked about the possibility of playing his club football at St James’ Park next season, Mane told Callanan; “Never say never”.

With a top-four finish in 2022–23, Newcastle will return to the Champions League, and they are being linked with a number of high-profile recruits, including Sadio Mane, who won the Premier League title while playing for Liverpool and scored 120 goals in 269 games.
