The All Farmers Association of Nigeria, AFAN, has accused some Chinese nationals of allegedly illegally importing 500 metric tonnes of rice seed into Nigeria.
According to AFAN assistant public relations office, Salisu Mukhtar, this act contravenes the Seed Act 2019. The allegation pointed that anyone who contravenes the Seed Act is liable to be punished commensurately to the offense stipulated in the Act.
