As we speak, the list of politicians and political parties already drawing out plans to unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of President Bola Tinubu continues to spring new names.
While many have yet to publicly declare their intention to contest in 2027, others say they are not giving up the fight.
Now, with the hardship ravaging the country, many opposition see themselves as messiahs who can save Nigerians from the calamities of the present administration.
Meanwhile, the APC government continues to insist that its reforms, though tough on Nigerians for now, will yield positive fruits and benefit every Nigerian.
As a matter of fact, weeks ago, Minister Wale Edun had hailed Nigerians for enduring the hardship caused by the policies of President Tinubu.
But for some Nigerians, they have had enough, what they need now is instant miracle, the type Jesus performed in the Holy scriptures.
Many have called for Tinubu’s resignation, while many others have called on former president Goodluck to contest for the seat.
To some, it is even better the military takes over, a sentiment the government see as treason.
Well, one do not get to blame these people, the situation in Nigeria is not friendly at all.
No wonder David Adeleke popularly known as Davido advised Nigerians abroad not to thin of returning to Nigeria.
He did not hide his reason. He told them that the situation is not friendly at home.
At the end of the day, Nigerians do not have a choice but to wait till 2027, then they will decide their fate once again.

Severally Atiku has been told to stop contesting for presidency and severally he has refused.
Unfortunately, defeat only awaits. But the big question remains, will Atiku back down in 2027?
The answer is No.
Atiku had already made it known that it is only his party, the PDP, the can stop him from contesting.
As for him, backing out is not an option.
Atiku was a major contender in 2023. In fact, for years, Atiku has remained just an opposition, a tough one at that, but never victory.

It was not long after the incident, reports of PDP inviting Jonathan to contest in 2027 under its platform surfaced.
Pressure has been mounting on the Ex President to join the race. Should he accept it, then expect Jonathan on the ballot in 2027.
Although the PDP had denied offering the presidential ticket to Jonathan considering the fact that his wife had vowed never to return to Aso Rock, that did not stop the APC from reacting.
According to the ruling party, 10 Goodluck cannot unseat Tinubu stressing that he will meet defeat as he did in 2015.
Whatever be the case, the 2027 promises to be historic.
Will Nigerians continue to endure the hardship under the Tinubu regime and wait for the benefits to materialise, or will they vote him out of Aso Rock?
