Nollywood actor Eso Dike has reflected on the financial hardships he faced at the beginning of his acting career.
He reveals that it took him over seven years to earn his first ₦1 million from acting.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Dike described the journey as long and challenging.
She noted that success did not come quickly despite his consistency and dedication.
“It took me more than seven years to make my first one million naira bulk as an actor,” he said, recalling the period that tested his resolve.
The actor explained that while the struggle was real, he never outwardly projected hardship
“Before I got one million naira bulk, it took some time, probably seven or eight years. I’m not a portrayer of suffering, so even when I was struggling, you wouldn’t know,” he added.
Eso Dike studied Law and was called to the Nigerian Bar, began his acting career with appearances in television series such as Tinsel.
Also, he later rose to prominence through roles in The Smart Money Woman, Game On, and Ricordi.
Today, he is regarded as one of Nollywood’s notable actors.
