Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, has called on citizens to recognise the vast opportunities within the country.
He insists that Nigeria remains the foundation for meaningful success.

David Umahi criticised the attitude of some Nigerians who travel abroad in search of better opportunities.
Also, he noted that while they obey rules, traffic laws and work diligently overseas, they often abandon those same standards when they return home.
“Some Nigerians living abroad obey rules and traffic laws there, but once they come back home, they drop those same practices. If they apply the same level of discipline and hard work in Nigeria as they do abroad, they would succeed even 100 times better than overseas,” he said.
The minister stressed that discipline, dedication and consistency are key ingredients for success.
