The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has officially unveiled its new logo.

It marks a significant milestone in the country’s revenue administration as it formally replaces the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

The transition follows the signing of the Nigeria Revenue Service Establishment Act 2025 by President Bola Tinubu in June 2025.

Also, it paves the way for the new agency to commence full operations.

Speaking at the logo unveiling ceremony in Abuja, the Executive Chairman of the NRS, Zacch Adedeji, described the new brand identity as a defining moment in the evolution of Nigeria’s revenue framework.

Also, he noted that the logo and accompanying brand elements symbolise renewed purpose, institutional strength, and a modern approach to revenue administration.

According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Dare Adekanmbi, the new identity reflects the agency’s commitment to a more unified, efficient, and service-driven revenue system.

This aligned with Nigeria’s economic reform agenda and international best practices.

Adedeji further stated that the rebranding signals continuity, enhanced capacity, and a forward-looking vision aimed at better supporting taxpayers and national development.

Also, he emphasised that the unveiling represents the beginning of a stronger relationship between the revenue authority and Nigerians, founded on trust, transparency, and shared prosperity.
