As the year comes to an end and Christmas lights fill the streets, people are getting ready to spend time with family and friends.

The Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is not left out.

The festive season is all about tradition, joy, and taking a break from the usual busy life.

Even leaders take this time to go home, relax, and celebrate with their loved ones.

President Tinubu Ready For Christmas

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday arrived in Lagos State for this year’s Christmas and New Year holidays.

Tinubu arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at exactly 3:23 p.m. on Wednesday.

Before departing Abuja, the President presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly for consideration and passage.

His arrival in Lagos was announced by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to him, the President was welcomed by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat.

Also, at the airport were the state’s cabinet members.

The statement read: “President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.

“Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members received the President at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

“Before his departure to Lagos, President Tinubu presented the 2025 budget, totalling ₦47.9trn, before a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja”.

The festive season is a reminder that no matter how busy life gets, the warmth of home and the joy of togetherness matter most.
