Xavi has spoken to Ilkay Gundogan about bringing the Manchester City midfielder to Barcelona, according to Spanish outlet.
Gundogan’s City contract expires at the end of the season.
According to reports, Xavi has reportedly told the Germany international that Barca will do all they can to resolve their financial issues in order to bring him to the Nou Camp.
There are suggestions Gundogan would be willing to accept a lower wage at Barca in order to facilitate a move and that he is keen on joining the LaLiga leaders.
