Nigerian singer, Terry Apala, has expressed profound gratitude to fellow artist, Wizkid, for significantly boosting his career.
In a recent interview with Pulse, Terry Apala revealed that Wizkid’s collaboration on the remix of his song “Apala Disco” changed everything for him.
According to Terry, Wizkid’s contribution to the track not only elevated the song’s reach but also saved him from the substantial financial burden typically associated with music promotion.
“It wasn’t my doing. Wizkid just decided to help me, seeing that I’ve been struggling in the music industry for long. He changed my entire career with just one verse,” he shared.
The singer likened Wizkid’s involvement to a divine intervention.
Also, it describes it as a “shortcut” that spared him millions of naira in promotional expenses.
“It’s like you’re planning to spend millions to promote your song, and Wizkid now jumped on the song; it will automatically reduce the promotion budget. That’s how God works,” Terry explained.
The remix of “Apala Disco”, which also features Seyi Vibez and DJ Tunez, has gained traction.
