Veteran Yoruba actor, Charles Olumo, affectionately known as ‘Agbako,’ has passed away at the remarkable age of 101.
While he may not have sought to outlive Methuselah, Agbako’s life was indeed long and full.

Bolaji Amusan, widely known as Mr. Latin, has confirmed the passing of veteran actor Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu.
In an Instagram post expressing condolences on behalf of the Nigerian entertainment community, he poured his mind.
“#Tampanglobal announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as AGBAKO. Details of the burial arrangements will be shared at a later time. Goodnight father, 25/02/1923 to 31/10/2024.”

Sanyaolu began acting in 1953 at a church in Lagos.
