Rapper Young Thug was released from jail on Thursday after pleading guilty to charges related to involvement in criminal activities.
The 33-year-old Atlanta-based artist was among 28 alleged street gang members indicted in May 2022 on racketeering and other charges.
According to prosecutors, Young Thug was the head of YSL, an extension of the Bloods gang.
Meanwhile, thug was accused of violating state racketeering laws.
Reports have it that he was sentenced to time already served and an additional 15 years of probation.
Also, he was sentenced by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker.
The charges listed in the racketeering indictment included offences such as murder, assault, carjacking, drug trafficking, and theft.
The Grammy-winning rapper entered a no-contest plea to racketeering and leadership in a criminal street gang.
However, he pleaded guilty to six other charges, including firearms and drug offences.
Online jail records for Fulton County showed Young Thug’s release on Thursday under his birth name.
