Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, has revealed that no lives were lost in the explosion that rocked Fagba, Iju Ishaga area of Lagos State this evening.
He said the Agency had handled the situation and brought calm to the neighbourhood after calls were made following the explosion of gas cylinders.
IBrandTV earlier reported an explosion of a Vehicle conveying gas in Fagba which had caused panic and traffic congestion, forcing road users to take alternate routes as others scampered for safety.
Confirming the development, Osanyintolu, in a telephone chat with IBrandTV, said ”we have already handled it, there were no casualties.”
