Sporting Lisbon captain, Bruno Fernandes, has hinted he wants to sign for Manchester United this January.
Fernandes is at the heart of a transfer tussle between United and Barcelona.
The midfielder was stopped by a reporter from Portuguese television station SIC on Tuesday, who asked him questions about his future.
The first question was whether a move to the Premier League is his preference, to which he responded: “It always was.”
The second was whether Old Trafford is his desired destination.
Fernandes replied: “Anything really.”
