Since its premiere, “Gangs of Lagos” has been the talk of the town in Nigeria.
It was a good show for movie lovers this Easter.
The movie explores the issues of power, loyalty, and betrayal as well as the consequences of violence and the struggle for control.
The direction and cinematography of this film are outstanding.
Not to mention the outstanding cast; each member understood the mission and delivered accordingly.

1. Tobi Bakre as Obalola
Tobi Bakre is the major Gangs of Lagos actor.
He is a street kingpin in Isale Eko who must protect his throne and follow in the footsteps of his deceased father, a former kingpin.
2. Olarotimi Fakunle As Kazeem
He played the role of a butcher’s son, also a ruthless gang leader but a kind father.
3. Adesua Etomi-Wellington As Gift
Gift is also a major character in this movie.
She is one of the leading women and the sergeant of Obalola (a character played by Tobi Bakre).
Together, they must protect Obalola’s throne from usurpers and get back at those who wronged her.
4. Chike As Ify
Chike is a minor Gangs of Lagos Cast who plays the character of Tobi Bakre’s Childhood friend.
5. Temitayo “Zlatan” Omoniyi (Kashope)
He was a rival of Obalola, but they both got together to revenge the deaths of their loved ones.
