The incident took place at a presidential campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
A city situated in the western region of the state, approximately 35 miles north of Pittsburgh.
2. How It Happened
About six minutes into Trump’s speech, popping noises echoed through the rally, and the former president was seen clutching his ear.
He quickly ducked to the ground as several Secret Service agents rushed to the stage, surrounding him.
Also, the onlookers screamed as the chaotic scene unfolded.
Roughly a minute later, agents helped Trump stand.
Also, he raised his fist to the crowd and prompts cheers from his supporters.
The agents then swiftly escorted him off the stage and into a vehicle.
Blood was visible on Trump’s ear and the side of his face.
Later, on his social media site, Truth Social, he stated that a bullet had “pierced the upper part of my right ear.
3. Spectator Casualties Reported by Police
One spectator died, and two others were critically wounded during the incident, according to Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens.
All three victims are men, though their identities are not being released at this time.
However, Dan Laurent, vice president of corporate communications at Allegheny Health Network made a statement.
