South Africa’s Banyana Banyana remain the second-highest ranked team on the continent, sitting at 51st in the world rankings.
Following closely, the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco are positioned third in Africa and 56th globally.
On the global stage, Spain’s La Roja have solidified their standing as the number one team in the world.
France’s Les Bleues have moved up to second place, causing England to drop to third.
Germany are the new fourth placed team having displaced the United States.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking is scheduled for release on 16 August 2024.
