Students shutdown Delta State Polytechnic in protest of alleged Anti Stdent Policies

Delta State Polytechnic students have shut down academic activities in the school as they protest an alleged “Anti Student Policies” put in place by the Institution.

The students locked the entrance gate and took over the security post and blocked the ever busy Ughelli/Asaba expressway.

Travelers plying the route have been stranded for over three hours as a result of the protest.

DAILY POST gathered that the Delta State Polytechnic Management had allegedly introduced new policies banning students from driving their private vehicles into the campus.
But the students say their protest is to prevail on the management of the Polytechnic to cancel the policy.
