Sammie Okposo’s project manager, Hillary Vincent, has dismissed rumors that the well-known gospel singer slumped at his Lekki, Lagos, home on Friday morning, November 25, 2022. Numerous media outlets claimed that when he supposedly slumped, he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Vincent, on the other hand, stated in an exclusive interview with Sunday Scoop, “It is not true that Sammie slumped and died. That story is untrue. The family will clarify the facts when the time is appropriate. However, I can state with authority that he did not slump. Instead, he simply didn’t wake from his sleep.
“As regards the funeral arrangements, the details will be made known by the family. But right now, they are still in grief and mourning the departed singer.
The singer was best known for songs like Welu Welu from his debut album, Unconditional Love.
