It is a day of mourning for the entire Nigerian Army as they pay their last respect to the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja.
As we speak, the funeral service for the late Chief of Army Staff is currently ongoing at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.
Lagbaja died in Lagos following an illness.
The wife of the President, Oluremi Tinubu and other top countrymen have arrived at the event.

Other guests at the event include senior military personnel from Nigeria and abroad, friends, family members, associates, government officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
