Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has introduced Dove FC, a football club, as part of his campaign to guide youth away from criminal activities.
The official launch of Dove FC took place over the weekend at the Redeemed Camp in Lagos State.
The team comprises players selected from all six regions of Nigeria, aged between 16 and 21.
The primary objective is to prepare them for potential professional careers.
Dedication To God
During the event, Pastor Adeboye encouraged the players to prioritise their dedication to God over monetary pursuits.

He emphasised that true victory comes from divine intervention, not just human effort.
Adeboye underscored that “success is achieved through God’s grace, not merely human strength. To be a true champion, you must have God on your side”.
Significant Strides
The Chairman of Dove FC, Prince Dapo Ajibade, further elaborated that the establishement of the club would help the church make significant strides.
“With the blessings of God and under the guidance of the General Overseer, Dove FC aspires to become a prominent global brand,” he affirmed.
