Nigerian forward Paul Julius has died in a ghastly car accident in Cyprus. The tragedy occurred when Julius’s car collided head-on with another vehicle.
Julius had joined Cypriot club Enosis Neon Paralimniou, from Egyptian side El Gaish.
The club announced Julius’s passing on their official website, expressing deep sadness and pain over his untimely demise.
The club said, “It is with deep sadness and pain that we express our sincere condolences on the unexpected loss of our footballer Paul Julius.
“The tragic news of his death has shocked us all. Despite the hardships and sufferings he faced to join our family, he remained steadfast and determined to fulfill his goals.”
“His memory will live on in our minds, and his absence will be felt.”
The club extended their condolences to Julius’s family and loved ones, saying: “We are with his family and his loved ones during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.”
