Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face Egypt in a double-header friendly match this month, as part of their preparation for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The two friendlies will take place in Cairo on February 25 and 27, 2025, respectively.
The upcoming matches will serve as a crucial warm-up for the Flying Eagles, who are gearing up to compete in the U-20 AFCON.
The tournament, scheduled to take place in Cote d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18, will see the top four teams qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Chile.
In preparation for the friendlies, head coach Aliyu Zubairu has invited a squad of 30 players.
The team will be looking to make a strong impression in the upcoming matches, as they bid to secure a spot in the U-20 AFCON and ultimately, the FIFA U20 World Cup.
