German tactician Bruno Labbadia has opted out of becoming the new head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
This decision comes just days after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced his appointment as the national team’s head coach.
The NFF had announced Labbadia’s appointment on Tuesday, August 27, 2024,stating that they had reached an agreement with him to lead the Super Eagles.
However, negotiations between Labbadia and the NFF broke down over their inability to agree on over final details regarding salary and other entitlements.
