The Pace-setter state alongside other five others have been selected to benefit from the Agro-processing zones project courtesy of African Development Bank (AFDB) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
This was made known during a courtesy visit of the delegates to the governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
The team lead of the African Development Bank, Dr. Chucks Ezedinma, said the Bank is currently in the country to undertake what it calls the Special Agro- Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZs) and is designed for six states and Oyo State is one of the beneficiaries.
Gov. Makinde while addressing the delegates assured that the state would soon fix at least 200 kilometers of rural roads through the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP)
