The office of Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has issued an official statement debunking claims that the billionaire politician is planning to take actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife.
Even more, the allegations that Chika Ike is pregnant for him have been categorically dismissed as baseless fabrications.
There have been swirling rumours that Nollywood actress Chika Ike, a senior colleague to Regina Daniels, is allegedly pregnant for billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko.
Also, this speculation has ignited social media discussions.
‘No Truth To the Rumours’
The statement was released by the Director of Communications.
He emphasised that these speculations were the work of attention-seeking bloggers and gossipmongers.
Also, he said they were attempting to create unnecessary controversy around the lawmaker’s personal life.
“As a public figure and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories,” the statement read.
Furthermore, the senator’s office made it clear that he was currently committed to his national assignment and political duties.
No Statement On 2face And Polygamy
In addition to shutting down the marriage and pregnancy claims, the statement also refuted reports that Senator Ned Nwoko had made any comments about legendary Nigerian musician Tuface Idibia (2Baba) and polygamy.
“These false narratives”, the statement warned, “are part of a growing trend of misinformation that could mislead the public”.

In light of these false narratives, the senator’s team has issued a stern warning to media houses and content creators.
They reminded them of the legal implications of spreading unverified news.
