Well, today, a day after the swearing-in of Nigeria’s new President, the exchange rate of the Dollar to Naira fell by ₦10.

Currency dealers in Nigeria, popular known as the Bureau De Change (BDC) operators, are changing a dollar at ₦770 when buying and ₦765 when selling.
This is against how a dollar exchanged at ₦780 yesterday.
Also the second most traded currency known as Euro/Naira traded at ₦818 buy and ₦805 sell respectively in the black market.
Interestingly, at the same time the Pound To Naira Exchange Rate is ₦955 buy, while you can sell a pound for ₦937 sell at the black market rate.
However, the Naira still changes at ₦461 on the Central Bank’s official market.

It is a known fact that the dollar to Naira exchange rate is not steady due to factors such as inflation, importing as a country instead of exporting, devaluing of the Naira among other reasons.
