Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” Reclaims Top Spot On Billboard Hot 100

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” has surged back to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a second non-consecutive week.

The track’s resurgence follows the July 4 premiere of its West Coast-inspired music video and Lamar’s repeated performances of the song at his “The Pop Out” concert in Los Angeles.

The event featured appearances by notable musicians including Dr. Dre, YG, Tyler the Creator, and Schoolboy Q.

Originally debuting at No. 1 in May, “Not Like Us” marks Lamar’s first multi-week Hot 100 No. 1 as a solo artist.

This week, it achieved 54 million streams and 40 million radio airplay audience impressions, fueled by its strong presence and promotional activities.

Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has slipped to No. 2 after leading the previous chart. The country track, which samples J-Kwon’s 2009 hit “Tipsy,” made history as the first song by a Black male artist to simultaneously top both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.

Meanwhile, Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, has climbed to No. 3.

Morgan Wallen re-enters the Top 10 with the debut of “Lies Lies Lies” at No. 7. Initially part of Wallen’s Abbey Road Sessions digital series, the song has garnered 27 million streams and nearly 5 million airplay audience impressions following its release as a single on streaming platforms.

The remainder of the Top 10 includes familiar hits: Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” at No. 4, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” at No. 5, and her “Please Please Please” at No. 6. Hozier’s “Too Sweet” is at No. 8, Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” is at No. 9, and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” rounds out the Top 10 at No. 10.
