Kanye West’s X account has been deactivated following a series of anti-Semitic, misogynistic, and racist posts. Elon Musk confirmed that the rapper’s profile is now classified as Not Safe For Work (NSFW) and “won’t be seen anymore.”
Kanye West, posted more than 20 tweets on Friday, February 7, 2025, making references to Nazis and Hitler while also targeting Jewish individuals, including Musk himself.

In one post, he wrote, “I’m never apologising for my Jewish comments. I can say whatever I wanna say forever.”
He added, “Jewish people don’t run me no more,” and, “Some of my best friends are Jewish, and I don’t trust any of them,” ending with a laughing emoji.
During the Super Bowl on Sunday, 9 February 2025, West also took aim at Taylor Swift, referencing her recent appearance at the Grammys, where she was seen dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track Not Like Us.
In a tweet, he wrote, “If It’s About The Culture… Why Are We Letting Taylor Swift Be Seen On Tv Singing A Song About Taking A Black Man Down And Accusing Of Things That Can Take A Black Man Down For Life.”
Following the backlash, Musk confirmed that West’s posts led to his account being restricted. “Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW.
You should not be seeing that anymore,” Musk stated.
In his final tweet before deactivation, West wrote,”I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent.”
He compared his posting spree to an Ayahuasca trip, saying, “It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board.”
He ended with, “Love all of you who gave me the energy and attention. Till we connect again. Good afternoon and goodnight.”
