Harry Kane shared a positive injury update despite suffering a blow in Bayern Munich’s Klassiker draw with Borussia Dortmund.
Kane was forced off the field after just 33 minutes due to discomfort in his thigh.
Dortmund had already taken the lead through Jamie Gittens before Kane’s substitution, leaving Bayern in a challenging position.
However, Jamal Musiala stepped up with an 85th-minute equalizer, salvaging a crucial 1-1 draw for the Bundesliga leaders.
Bayern Munich have not officially provided a timeline for Kane’s recovery, but reports from BILD suggest he could be sidelined for approximately two weeks.
If the recovery progresses as expected, Kane may make his comeback in Bayern’s final match of 2024, a pivotal home fixture against RB Leipzig on December 20.
Nonetheless, Kane shared a positive message with fans on social media, writing:
“A little muscle strain so just time to recover now.
“Great header by @jamalmusiala10 yesterday to get a good point.
“Thanks for all the messages 🙌.”
