The Department of State Services, DSS, has again released former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Dr Obadiah Mailafia after bringing him in for further questioning today.
He was called to appear earlier today, which he did.
Mailafia’s ordeal with the DSS is connected to an interview he granted to a radio station, Nigeria Info, during which he alleged that an unnamed northern governor in Nigeria is the leader of the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram.

He has since said his comments were taken out of context, but the station was fined N5million for hate speech.
He was first invited last Thursday for a six-hour interrogation session in the department headquarters in Abuja.
