The death of popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope is one that will linger for long.
Till this very moment, his millions of fans and followers still mourn the tragic death of the skilled actor.
Now, these are people who are not related to Junior Pope, but yet, they feel the pain of losing him.
One cannot begin to imagine the pain his family will have to endure, especially the woman who birthed him.
The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas says he met with the mother of the deceased.
From his statement, one does not need a soothsayer to be told what the woman is going through.
Foul Play
According to Rollas, the mother of late Junior Pope is of the opinion that there was foul play surrounding her son’s death.
Junior Pope, alongside four other crew members, were confirmed dead in a boat mishap.
The unfortunate accident occured while they were commuting via water for Adanma Luke’s forthcoming movie, The Other Side of Life.
It was during a recent interview that the AGN president spoke about Junior Pope’s Cameroonian mother, who believes her son was killed.
The Rumour
Rollas noted that this resulted from rumours peddled on social media.
In his words, “I was with his mother yesterday, and all the rumors online are making her feel that her son was killed.
I had to let her know that I was also supposed to be in the boat.”

Emeka Rollas did not end there, he went further to say that CPR was conducted on Junior Pope immediately he was brought out of the water after being under for more than four hours.
He continued, “Anybody that said they didn’t perform CPR on Jnr Pope is a liar. He was brought out dead after spending over 4 hours under the water.”
